We disagree on the OF alignment. Unless Duran is a liability in CF — I haven’t read that — Verdugo is most valuable in an OF corner. Renfroe has been a workhorse, and Verdugo is the backup RF.
Rather than rotating one of your best players between all 3 spots, it makes more sense to keep Duran in center. Plus, Verdugo has had some hamstring issues.
For the Sox, it’s time to find out what Duran can do on the big stage. He’s not a kid — I believe he turns 25 later this year — and he has an opportunity to provide a real spark.
